This research constitutes a quantitative and qualitative assessment of Indo-Sri Lanka contraband trade and capital. Contraband Trade can be defined as illicit trade between any two entities. Research questions addressed by this study focus on the extent of contraband trade, the modalities, causes effects, non-economic factors and policy options that can be derived from the causes and effects of contraband trade and capital between India and Sri Lanka. This research also includes chapters on drug trafficking, corruption and law enforcement.
