This book represents the first effort at identifying the wide range of literature produced in the Asia region, related to gender and energy. It was commissioned by ENERGIA, an international network on gender and sustainable energy, which links groups and individuals concerned with gender and energy in developing countries. The main purpose of this document is to summarise the most important materials related to gender/women and energy in the Asia region, primarily as a resource for the Asia and gender network.
