This book presents the study on trade expansion in South Asian countries. It focuses on identification of products of export interest to regional countries and proceeds to estimate the level of export surplus. It identifies the products of import interest in these countries, and the level of imports of these identified products. It then proceeds to examine what the impact of various imports restrictions, including tariff and non-tariff barriers, would be on the identified products, and analyses the impact of removal of such restrictions on the competing industries.
