This study aims to develop a numerical indicator of the level of public confidences in the peace process and to use a set of questions related to recent social, economic and political developments in order to capture the public opinion of the peace process. In order to know the changes in public perception over a period of time this study is conducted bi-monthly and this publication presents the top-line results of the March 2005 survey. Information has been collected by having face-to-face interviews with a randomly selected sample of 1803 persons and the information collected range from perceptions of war and peace, to peace talks to foreign aid. To state a few of the many findings, the survey finds that a majority consider the 'no war, no peace' situation as bad and a majority thinks the Government in fully capable of achieving peace through peace talks.
