This study aims to develop a numerical indicator of the level of public confidences in the peace process and to use a set of questions related to recent social, economic and political developments in order to capture the public opinion of the peace process. In order to know the changes in public perception over a period of time this study is conducted bi-monthly and this publication presents the top-line results of the November 2002 survey. Information has been collected from a sample of 1,419 persons through interviews, which are based on a structured questionnaire. The survey has been done in 7 provinces excluding the North and the East and the issues range from perceptions of war and peace, to peace talks to foreign aid.
