This booklet has been printed as part of a legal literacy project. It focuses on children under especially difficult circumstances and the law in Sri Lanka concerning them. It examines areas such as who a child is and outlines the existing law for children related to criminal responsibility, cruelty, neglect, abuse, trouble with law, children beyond the control of parents, remand homes, sexual exploitation, child labour, etc.
