The Conflict Crime and Violence team in the Social Development Department at the World Bank has completed web-based data-research and analysis on the size and trends of violence worldwide. The results of this research are three global Violence Datasets produced at the country level, focusing on data for the following types of violence:

1. Violent Conflict
2. Homicide Rate
3. Domestic Violence

The Violence Datasets are based on an in-depth assessment of existing data provided by governments and leading institutions in the field of violence and conflict prevention.
