The book contains eleven chapters relating to land with a focus on small farmers and an emphasis on agricultural development aiming at agrarian transformation. The principle concepts explored in the study are political, economic schools, methods and some sociological theory. Agrarian structures and dynamics of their transformation within agricultural/rural societies such as a shift from feudal to capitalist methods and peasantry fundamentalism about production relations is also dealt with.
