This book looks at livelihood insecurity and social tension in Nepalese society. Conceptual links between livelihood insecurity, social tension and conflict in Nepal have seldom been made. Therefore this book examines this relationship from different perspectives. Another aim of the book is to rest the explanatory power of livelihood approaches and to enrich the livelihood perspective by constructive and evidence based criticism.
