This research is primarily aimed at assessing the achievement levels of pupils who have completed four years of schooling in Sri Lanka and the nine reports prepared on a provincial basis illustrate the achievement of students in each province.  The variables identified for the purpose of data analysis are gender, types of schools, medium of instruction and urban and rural localities of school.
